Ahem

Dad, take a picture of me so I can see how cool I look with these sun glasses on.

Well, ok...

Cool. Like cool hand Luke.

So...

Baseball photos arrived on Saturday.

He's adorable and I really do think the photos are cute... but really? They didn't have an image of him not making a face? Haha.

Small britches HUGE thoughts

Today, we took Jes and Liv on a drive up to Tibble Fork. I taught him how to properly skip stones across the water, he got the hang of it quite well. While digging through the dirt for proper skipping stones we kept finding pieces of fishing reel, which perked his interest in fishing. He quickly decided that if he could build a fishing rod, he could catch a fish and his/her entire family, and then release them into a new lake where they could be with more sociable and friendly fish. He also decided that he would not use a hook because he didn't want to harm the fish, he has an idea about using grass and worms for bait... stay tuned. :)

I love him big time.

Lost in Translation

NEVER would have guessed that upon discovery of Karaoke, he would immediately set off to master the skill. He sang 4 songs and was pumped about it. Amazing!

Oh my... HANDSOME!

Man, he's so good looking with that fresh haircut!

He played an awesome game today, knocking one WAY out to right center, catching two outs at first and throwing some smoking fast balls into the pitcher - so proud!

Moms just rubbing dirt off his face with a good ole spit shine. :)

Celebratory juice.

Tuesday Night Baseball

Pop fly to center field! DING!

The little dude in the back was nailed twice by wild foul balls, once in the throat and again in the back of his head - hence, waaaay bummed.

Kickflips and Chicken Fights

Sunday funday, so wear your best!

WOW, today was quite literally the polar opposite of yesterdays weather! It's unreal how we went from a full on blizzard and a few inches of snow one day to sunny warm weather the next. We took full advantage of what today had to offer; there was basketball, baseball, frisbee, chicken fights on the monkey bars, skate sessions, snacks and treats.

Today, he learned how to push himself standing up on the skateboard, you have no idea how thrilled he was at this. His first time doing it he ran up to me, hugged me, gave me a huge kiss and said, "Dad, thank you for teaching me how to skateboard, I love you." So good. :)
